The May issue of SNACK WORLD has just been published and features the 2014 State of the Snack Industry Report, covering all major product categories in our industry. Check out the trends and see what companies are leading the pack with new products, innovation, and of course, sales. Read the overview article, in which IRI's Sally Lyons Wyatt delves into changing consumer needs and preferences that will have a major impact on snack company decisions from product development to marketing and more.

Showcased in this issue are business member Snyders Lance., Inc. and associate member Heat and Control. Learn about these companies' backgrounds and plans for the future. SFA will feature member company profiles in every issue this year, highlighting many of the outstanding companies that contribute so much to our industry and our association.

The issue includes a detailed report on SFA's Legislative Summit, which discusses our key legislative and regulatory concerns and the important role played by SFA members who came to Washington and met with members of the House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate. SFA company executives did a great job of representing our industry and letting lawmakers know how important their decisions are to their businesses.
